New in 2026, we are offering three types of assistance. At this time, we are unable to provide financial assistance if you do not meet the requirements for one of these three categories.
How to get help:
Read the 3 different descriptions of help and pick the form that fits you.
Fill it out as best you can - the more details you can give, the more quickly we can get started.
We usually call or email within 48 hours.

Form 1: Emergency Help (Food, Diapers, Utilities)
Emergency help is usually up to $150.
In some cases, we can help with urgent needs, such as:
Groceries
Diapers
Gas cards
Utilities that are about to be shut off
This help does not include rent, car payments, or similar expenses.
Form 2: Working With a Caseworker
This help is usually up to $300.
We prioritize requests from individuals or families who are already working with a caseworker.
This may include someone from: Salvation Army, Bauer, DCS, Bravely, Food Finders, or a similar organization.
These partners help create a plan toward stability. We are glad to come alongside that work with support and encouragement.
Form 3: Working Part-Time or Full-Time and No Caseworker
We also want to support individuals or families who:
Are currently working
Have income
May qualify for limited public assistance
Are still struggling to make ends meet
This type of help may include financial assistance up to $500, along with:
One-on-one conversations
Help with budgeting or planning
Encouragement and follow-up
The goal is not just short-term help, but greater long-term stability.
If your situation doesn’t fit the ways we are currently able to provide assistance, please know this does not mean you don’t matter or that your need isn’t real. While we may not be able to offer financial help in every situation, we will do our best to connect you with local organizations, resources, or next steps that may be better suited to support you at this time.
If you do not have a caseworker and would like to try to find one, start by contacting Bauer Family Resources or Food Finders.
If you are a member of Calvary Church or call Calvary your church home, you will need to fill out a different form instead of any of these three forms above as this falls under the benevolence category.
