Mission Lab is a hands-on mission experience in New Orleans, Louisiana for a wide range of ages that provides opportunities to practically serve the community, share your faith, and get firsthand missions training.

MissionLab is hosted on the campus of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, which provides housing, meals, worship venue, meeting rooms, and recreation opportunities for our teams! Here is our vision for what a future Calvary trip to New Orleans might look like:
Size of Team: 10-12 people (This trip can be adjusted to accommodate families who would like to bring their kids along)
Cost: $500 Cost includes registration fees, travel, lodging, and food. Does not include fun money or meals during travel days.
Will I need training? The team will meet ahead of time to work on evangelism training as part of the trip will involve street evangelism as well as hands-on projects.
What Will We Do? Our team will leave Calvary early and make the 15-hour drive to New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, where we’ll get settled into our dorm rooms.
The first day, we’ll attend church together, enjoy lunch, and spend the afternoon sightseeing. The mission week officially begins that evening with dinner and worship.
The next morning, we’ll start with missions training before heading to our first ministry site. The rest of the week the team will serve at one ministry site in the morning and another in the afternoon. Each evening, we’ll gather with other teams for dinner and worship.
The last day, we’ll check out of the dorms, share breakfast together at a local restaurant, and begin the drive back to Indiana.
We do not have a current trip date scheduled. If you would be interested in going on this trip, please reach out to Amy Anthony and she can give you more information on the trip and can coordinate with you on what scheduling this trip might look like.
